Today, I went to see Dr. Suzuki. He had told me to discontinue my anti-viral medicine and advil two days ago. Well, everything was going great until about 1 hour before my appointment. Then, without warning, my left ear started feeling clogged again and got worse as I drove to his office. Well, I had a hearing test. I had some small amount of hearing loss (nothing like it was at its worst) in the left ear. Dr. Suzuki now has me back on the anti-viral medicine. He wants me to take three per day for a week and then taper to one per day. I'll go back and see him in two weeks.

I came home and took an anti-viral pill and a couple of advil. My ear was clear within a couple of hours. I hope I won't be on this stuff forever!
